The birds are elegant and graceful, perching on a porcelain tree logs. The colours are a beautiful contrast of greens, yellows and pinks hand painted with a wash set on a white porcelain background. The base is decorated with delicate painted flowers and set off on a decorative gold ormolu base. To the top the holders are figurative ormolu candle holders, gracefully poised on their heads and a matching gold branch with leaves swooping from the crown to the beak.
