Six beautiful whiskey tumblers by Cristal de Lorraine. Each tumbler is beautifully cut with a fan design and etched with stars surrounded by a swirl effect. We’ve been unable to locate this design so they could well be a one off commission. They feel substantial in the hand and look stunning on display.
The history of Cristal de Lorraine is a bit of a strange one. It was founded in the 1920s by Théodore Heitzman, who at the time was the baker to the world famous St Louis cristallerie. He became a highly regarded glass maker and Cristal de Lorraine was later sold to Lalique in the 1990’s.
This gorgeous set of glasses are a fine example of their work and would make a perfect gift for someone special.
